Basic Membership:
Membership in Makeup Artists of Atlanta is open to Media Makeup Artists, Wedding Makeup Artists, FX Makeup Artists, Counter Makeup Artists, Assistant Makeup Artists, New Makeup Artists, Student Makeup Artists, Licensed Cosmetologists, Student Cosmetologists, Licensed Estheticians, and Student Estheticians who live in the northern half of Georgia and are available to work in the Atlanta area. First three months are FREE; after that - we appreciate a suggested annual donation of only $25 to help cover expenses but the donation is not required
As a Basic Member, you will receive:
- Monthly Newsletter,
- Invitation to Quarterly Socials & Other Events,
- Chances to win Door Prizes at Social (limit one win per year),
- Pro Discounts for Members Only.
To become a Basic Member - please follow instructions on our contact page. You will receive a phone call for a brief telephone interview prior to approval. We look forward to hearing from you and having you as a Member of Makeup Artists of Atlanta.
A-List Members:
A-List Membership is by invitation only. This list was created as Founder, Kat Flynt's personal referral list and is limited to those Artists that Kat feels comfortable in recommending to a client. If you would like to be considered for an invitation to our A-List - please email your name, cell phone number and link to your website to info@MakeupArtistsofAtlanta.com and request a personal interview. We will then review your website to see if it meets our initial list of requirements and if yes, then Kat Flynt will personally call you to schedule an interview. Once approved - the minimum donation is $75 for a six month listing. Website and membership participation is re-evaluated by our Advisory Committee at the end of the first six months prior to invitation to renew listing. Kat reserves the right to remove an Artist from the A-List without invitation to renew if at any time negative feedback is received after sending artist referral.
As an A-List Member, you will receive:
- All benefits of the Basic Membership
- PLUS
- Your name, phone number, and website listed on our home page for six months.
- Job referrals from Kat Flynt and other A-List Members.
