Assistants List

Our assistants list consists of our members that are brand new makeup artists willing to assist our A-List members. To be added to our Assistants List - you must attend any one of the following classes:

However, we reserve the right to remove any name from our Assistants List that has proved to not be dependable and/or did not follow proper etiquette when assisting. It is of the utmost importance that our Assistants meet the expectations of the Artists they assist.

The "Art of Assistanting" (2-hour class)

Is reserved for our active members (have attended at least one social) and is held at least twice per year on a Sunday afternoon from 4:00pm until 6:00pm in Kat Flynt's Makeup Studio (click here for directions). Limit EIGHT students per class!! Additional classes will be scheduled only if a class fills up and has a waiting list. The curriculum for this two hour class includes:

  • The Importance of Dependability
  • Keep it Professional
    • Attitude and Self-Awareness
    • Virtual Presence
    • Physical Appearance
    • Dress Code
  • What is Expected of an Assistant
  • Proper Set Etiquette
  • Sanitation & Hygiene
    • Caring for Makeup Brushes
    • Basic Hygiene

Note: Dependability is a very important factor when being hired as an assistant, therefore, if you sign up for this class and then cancel or even worse, do not show up - you will not recieve a refund and you will not receive another opportunity to attend the class. We will not be able to recommend you as an assistant if you are not dependable - it is that simple.
